| | Tigers´population to be doubled by 2022 Zoom:  Aryanews- Ministers from 13 countries where Asian tigers are still found in the wild on Friday committed themselves to doubling the wild tiger population to about 7,000 by 2022. Thai PM has said that the wild tiger is already in crisis and it is necessary to take an action now, before it gets too late. Abhisit urged the 13 tiger-range countries Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Russia, Thailand and Vietnam, to make clear commitments to saving the endangered species in preparation for a Tiger Summit planned in Vladivostok. The September summit is to be hosted by Russian Prime Minster Vladimir Putin and co-chaired by World Bank President Robert Zoellick.
